Nobel Prize Series
The Nobel Prize Series aims to spread knowledge about the Nobel Prize awarded achievements and shares the inspirational stories of Nobel Laureates with the global audience. The Series is envisaged as a unique program combining a conference, lectures, roundtables, a symposium and an exhibition. It brings Nobel Laureates together on a common platform with the ambition of raising engagement in science, literature and peace in line with Alfred Nobel’s vision.
For the first time, the Nobel Prize Series was held in India as a part of Vibrant Gujarat summit held in Gandhinagar from January 9-12, 2017. The Nobel Prize Series - India 2017 featured a 5-week long Nobel Exhibition showcasing the lives and achievements of the Nobel Laureates. The Laureates also addressed a symposium with the themes “Innovation and its uses to Spur Societal Benefits” and “Innovation and Economic Growth”.
The second edition of Nobel Prize Series - India 2018 will be held in partnership with Goa on February 1-2, 2018 and will start on February 1 with the formal inauguration of the Nobel Prize Series - India 2018, Science Exhibition by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar, followed by an interactive round table “What Industry can do for scientists and scientists for Industry – and why” with the Nobel Laureates, industry heads, educationists, scientists and government officials.
